2018 QLD Gov Cashback Rebates available for Air Conditioning, Refrigerators & Washing Machines
You may have seen in the news or heard about the Energy Efficient Appliance Cashback Rebate that has been released by the Qld State Government on Monday 19th February 2018.
This rebate is for Washing Machines, Refrigerators & Air Conditioners that have a minimum four-star or higher energy rating.
Rebates will apply to purchases on or after 1 January 2018 for the following household appliances:
- $200 for a 4 star or higher energy rated washing machine
- $250 for a 4 star or higher energy rated refrigerator
- $300 for a 4 star or higher energy rated air conditioner.
The rebate is limited to 1 rebate application per household. The scheme will end when the funding is exhausted, so payment of a rebate is not guaranteed. The fund is for
The types of air conditioners that are eligible for these rebates are mostly 2.5kw and we are pleased to advise that we have both a Daikin & Mitsubishi Heavy Industries product that qualifies for the grant. This size unit is perfect for a Bedroom or Small Living Area.
In addition, until 28 February 2018, Mitsubishi is offering a minimum of $50 cash back on their product.
Energex also has another $100 rebate available on installation of a Peaksmart Device in each unit and this can be installed in up to 5 units in your property, provided they are Peaksmart compatible.
